What They Do:

The Amici Bowling League, located in Richmond Hill, ON, is a vibrant and tight-knit community of bowling enthusiasts. With a membership of 40 to 50 individuals, they gather once a week to enjoy friendly and competitive bowling matches. The league’s spirit extends beyond the lanes, as they organize a variety of exciting activities like turkey rolls, banquets, pizza nights, and thoughtful gifts for their members. With a remarkable history spanning over 20 years, the Amici Bowling League exemplifies the power of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and lifelong friendships formed through the shared love of bowling.

The Project:

I had the privilege of collaborating with the Amici Bowling League on a transformative project that revolutionized their administrative processes. Previously, the league relied on manual methods, involving multiple spreadsheets and calculations, to calculate weekly scores and standings. This labor-intensive task consumed several hours of their time. Communication was done through personal email accounts, thereby making the transition from old committee members to new ones more difficult.

The Result:

With the implementation of a more streamlined and automated Google Sheet for score tracking, I was able to streamline the process, reducing the time required to less than 15 minutes. Additionally, to enhance communication and information sharing, I created a dedicated Google Account for the league. This allowed them to centralize all league-related information within one account, making it easily shareable and transferable to new committee members. By leveraging the power of technology, the Amici Bowling League has achieved greater efficiency, improved organization, and seamless knowledge transfer within their committee.

What They Do:

Hulse, Playfair & McGarry is an Ottawa-area funeral home and cremation service provider offering a wide range of funeral services to meet every individual need. 

With five locations, their knowledgeable staff will help you celebrate, honour, and remember.  They will provide your family and friends with comfort, a warm place to share your grief and provide professional attention to the smallest detail.

The Project:

Julie, a new administrative assistant for the CEO was being onboarded.  In order to best support the business and the CEO, she needed a skill upgrade to more effectively use their Google Workspace account as well as learn how to manage small projects as an admin assistant.

The Result:

We customized a training plan that covered 6 different Google Modules plus an additional training session to cover high level Project Management principles.  Each session was individualized based on Julie’s current understanding of the module and what the business needs were. 

The sessions were delivered over the span of a month and allowed for time in between sessions for Julie to practice what she had learned.  We recorded the sessions and these sessions can now be used by Julie as a refresher, or for future admin staff to be onboarded.

What They Do:

The Association of Administrative Professionals (AAP) provides opportunities for growth through education and community building, giving their members a better understanding of how important their role is to any business.

AAP strives to provide administrative professionals the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive by encouraging all members to add to their individual competencies, advance their leadership skills, realize their value in the workplace and community, and have confidence to excel in their careers.

The Project:

AAP wanted to add up-to-date and relevant systems-related training sessions for their recertification program. 

AAP has two certificate programs that Administrative Assistants can complete to prove their level of competency in the administrative field.  In order to maintain certification, members need to demonstrate continuous professional development by completing recertification credits.

The Result:

All About Systems has been designing and delivering training webinars for AAP since early 2020.  Topics have included: Google Docs, Forms, Slides, Drive, Asana, Canva (101 and Go Pro), and a whole project management series geared specifically towards helping admins deliver small projects successfully.

What They Do:

PRS Forever is a Chicago-based personal training company led by Jason Colley.  Jason is a one-on-one competitor, strength & conditioning coach, certified nutritionist and personal trainer.

PRS Forever combines all your nutrition, personal training and sport performance needs into one service. 

The Project:

Jason wanted to start offering online training to make his services available to clients not able to meet in person, or residing outside of the Chicago area. 

In order to effectively communicate his individualized training program to each of his clients, he required a  template that could be used repeatedly, but still allowed for flexibility to be customized to meet each client’s unique needs.

Personal Trainer

The Result:

All About Systems met with Jason to gather all the requirements for the template.  We took the time to understand how the form would be used, how it would be shared, what sections were mandatory and what drop-down selections were needed.

A Google Sheet was created that allowed Jason to quickly define a customized training program for his online clients.  We added special formulas to list exercises in a drop-down field to be narrowed down based on the selected muscle groups from another field.  The template was designed to allow for flexibility when new exercises were added or removed. 

Finally, we used field validation and protection to ensure that data entered was correct, as well as to ensure that none of the formatting, branding design, layout or formulas could be accidentally modified.

What She Does:

Lisa Sinopoli is a Broker and Realtor specializing in helping seniors and their families make the right move at the right time.  She is located in Vaughan and serves the GTA.  Lisa recently celebrated having her realtor license for  30 years.  

The Project:

Lisa has been a client for many years, and we helped her with several projects as her business grew and adapted.  As with most realtors, keeping track of contacts and ensuring you have an automated way to reach out to them is incredibly important.

Lisa was struggling with keeping track of all of her contacts in an effective way and ensuring her marketing processes were streamlined and were reaching the right people.

The Result:

All About Systems worked with Lisa, her admin team and her marketing team to coordinate efforts, document process flows and create SOPs for her recurring tasks.  Once that was complete, we worked with Lisa to select the right Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to meet her needs and her goals.   We worked with external vendors to implement the CRM and then provided training and documentation to get her team operational.

Lisa was also looking to create a custom lead magnet to help her clients looking to invest in real estate in the GTA. We helped her design a custom Real Estate Investment Calculator to help her clients make better informed investment decisions.
